12:05 p.m. A youngster was shooting a pellet gun from a house at East Fifth Avenue and east First Street.
12:21 p.m. Three men were drinking in a vehicle in a parking lot in the 200 block of east College Drive.
1:17 p.m. A bear in a tree in the 2500 block of Main Avenue raised concern because of the proximity to where people are attending the county fair.
5:01 p.m. The owner of a business in the 800 block of Main Avenue called regarding theft by an employee.
8:41 p.m. Someone is possibly living in a vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 1100 block of South Camino del Rio.
8:49 p.m. Police arrested someone after a caller reported two solicitors in the 2500 block of Delwood Avenue.
10:03 p.m. A very young boy wearing baggy clothes and carrying a backpack and sleeping bag in the 600 block of Camino del Rio was reported as a suspicious person.
10:41 p.m. A caller said neighbors in the 700 block of east 31st Street might not be aware that a bear entered their garage.
