7:55 a.m. An extension ladder was in the road causing a hazard at the intersection of U.S. Highway 160 and Davidson Creek Road.

8:13 a.m. Someone attempted to make a purchase with counterfeit money somewhere on U.S. Highway 550.

12:30 p.m. Three people threatened someone from a car somewhere on U.S. Highway 160.

2:41 p.m. A woman and a man with a gun were fighting somewhere on County Road 309A.

3:02 p.m. A man reported his firearm was mistakenly entered as stolen in La Plata County.

3:32 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend hit her, and then she hung up the phone somewhere on San Mortiz Drive.

6:16 p.m. Three kayaks were abandoned in the river and stuck on rocks somewhere near La Posta Road (County Road 213).

Firefighters and medics responded to 25 calls from Wednesday to Thursday morning, including 14 emergency medical service calls, one car crash, one fire, one hazardous condition, one rescue and one public service call.
