8:49 p.m. Large fireworks were being set off near the Lion’s Den overlook, 2401 Rim Drive.

3:50 a.m. Five people were throwing M80 fireworks in the 3100 block of East Animas Village Drive.

3:02 p.m. A woman lay facedown in dirt near the Ninth Street Bridge.

10:29 p.m. Someone reported loud music from a band at Sacred Heart Parish Hall, 255 East Fifth Ave. Police issued two warnings.

11:13 p.m. People were shooting off bottle rockets in the lower 100 block of Sunridge Court.

Friday

10:51 a.m. A man was banging on cars near East Second Avenue and Seventh Street.

4:26 p.m. A woman stole clothing from the La Plata County Humane Society Thrift Store, 1111 South Camino del Rio.

4:48 p.m. Someone requested assistance removing a man in a tent from the corner of East Second Avenue and Seventh Street.

8:07 p.m. A man was trespassing in the west 100 block of 29th Street and pulled out a knife.

10:17 p.m. Someone reported a stolen paddleboard in the 3300 block of East Third Avenue.
