3:27 a.m. Two people were attempting to break into a vehicle in the 2500 block of Columbine Drive.

2:41 p.m. Someone reported an abandoned e-bike in the 3500 block of Main Avenue.

12:19 p.m. Someone reported a man had a machete near Manna soup kitchen. Police responded but didn’t find the man was violating any laws.

Sunday

7:15 p.m. A man walked out of Walmart, 1155 South Camino del Rio, with a bag full of clothes.

Friday, Aug. 5

12:10 a.m. Someone reported a woman screaming by the river behind the La Plata County Humane Society, 1111 South Camino del Rio. Police made an arrest for violation of a restraining order.

4:05 p.m. Someone reported a woman was threatening a man with a blowtorch in the 3100 block of East Animas Village Drive.

Thursday, Aug. 4

9:52 p.m. Someone reported loud rave music coming from a volleyball court at Santa Rita Park, 149 South Camino del Rio. Police issued a warning.

12:30 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of an argument between a man and a woman, and the man had a hammer, on west 32nd Street.

Wednesday

7:20 a.m. Someone reported an ongoing problem with a speeding motorcycle on U.S. Highway 160 east of Durango.

8:14 a.m. Someone reported a problem with speeders on County Road 214, south of Durango.

10:51 a.m. Someone reported vandalism to buildings on County Road 329.

7:59 p.m. Two men were fighting somewhere along County Road 501, north of Bayfield.
