1:44 a.m. Someone reported a bear in the area of Hilltop House, 1050 Avenida del Sol.

Tuesday

10:32 a.m. A vehicle hit the front of another vehicle and then drove away near the DoubleTree intersection. The run vehicle was last seen westbound on U.S. Highway 160.

5:54 p.m. A railroad crossing signal was malfunctioning near 32nd Street and East Second Avenue.

8:54 p.m. Someone turned in a bike that was found at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.

1:47 p.m. A truck with a trailer and no visible license plate was driving 20 mph in a 65 mph zone near County Road 204.

7:03 p.m. Someone reported two overdue hikers in the area of Middle Mountain, northeast of Vallecito Reservoir.

Firefighters and medics responded to 12 calls Tuesday and early Wednesday, including five EMS calls, a fire, a lift assist and a crash with no injuries.
