7:32 a.m. A two-car crash occurred in the 37000 block of U.S. Highway 160 west of Gem Village.

11:03 a.m. Someone reported “belligerent bums” camping in the 21800 block of U.S. Highway 160.

11:35 a.m. A panic alarm was triggered at the La Plata County Administrative Offices, 1101 East Second Ave.

11:36 p.m. Someone was arrested on a warrant in the 800 block of Main Avenue.

7:49 a.m. A four-car, rear-end crash blocked the road somewhere on U.S. Highway 160.

8:17 a.m. Three mules were reported on the road of County Road 225, then at 8:43 a.m. they were reported on County Road 223, and finally at 9:45 a.m. they were reported on U.S. Highway 160 east of Durango.

Friday

2:47 a.m. Someone was reported breaking into cars on Westridge Road.

Firefighters and medics responded to 21 calls Thursday, including nine EMS calls, a contained boiler fire and a combustible liquid spill.
