12:38 p.m. A report was made for a shoplifting incident that occurred an hour earlier at Animas trading Co., 742 Main Ave.

4:55 p.m. A three-car sideswipe crash blocked traffic at the intersection of West College Drive and Camino del Rio.

5:32 a.m. A car hit an elk on County Road 203, resulting in an injury and blocked traffic.

6:42 a.m. A person was reported banging on a garage door on Bayfield Parkway.

2:34 p.m. Three horses were reported in the middle of County Road 204.

1:15 a.m. A person on River Road was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

2:31 a.m. A person on Camino del Rio was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

4:40 a.m. A report was made for a loaded handgun that was found by the X-ray machine at Durango-La Plata County Airport.

10:22 a.m. A person was reported stealing tires on Calle de Los Suenos.

12:39 a.m. A woman was reported sitting and screaming next to a car in the road of U.S. Highway 550 South.

1:16 a.m. A person on Colorado Highway 172 was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

6:25 a.m. A man was reported trespassing in a person’s apartment on County Road 240 (Florida Road).

5:44 p.m. A car rolled over on County Road 213.

5:49 p.m. An assault was reported at Purgatory Resort.

11:57 p.m. A person on Escalante Drive was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

10:09 a.m. A person on East Second Avenue was arrested on a warrant.

2:38 p.m. A person reported they lost a gun at Forest Lakes.

5:13 p.m. A person in custody of the La Plata County Detention Center, 742 Turner Drive, was served a warrant.

7:30 p.m. A car hit an elk on U.S. Highway 550.

9:55 p.m. A person on County Road 318 was arrested on a warrant.

10:22 p.m. A person on U.S. Highway 160 West was arrested on a warrant.
