9:21 a.m. A man unconscious in a suburban at Crossroads Center parking lot, 1316 Main Ave., was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

11:32 a.m. A person in the 800 block of Narrow Gauge Avenue was arrested on a warrant.

1:18 p.m. A man was found dead in the 2900 block of Main Avenue. The Durango Police Department did not immediately respond to a request Thursday seeking more information.

7: 08 p.m. Multiple people were inside a vacant apartment in the 100 block of East Seventh Avenue.

4:02 a.m. Someone on Colorado Highway 172 was arrested on a warrant.

7:20 a.m. An elk had been hit by a vehicle and was partially blocking the northbound lane of traffic on U.S. Highway 160 east of Durango. The elk was alive at the time of the report.

9:15 a.m. Mail was stolen on County Road 516.

3:23 p.m. A person driving recklessly on U.S. Highway 550 north of Durango was issued a citation.

7:55 p.m. With the assistance of a K-9 unit, a person on U.S. Highway 160 east of Durango was arrested on suspicion of a drug violation.
