4:01 a.m. A blue SUV with the doors open was in the parking lot on the east side of Denny’s Restaurant in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

Wednesday

10:26 a.m. a 58-year-old man who fell in Tamarin Square in the 1400 block of East Third Avenue was having trouble breathing.

11:16 a.m. A group of people were passing a joint around behind a building in the 1100 block of Camino del Rio.

11:22 a.m. A desk clerk at a motel in the 3100 block of Main Avenue asked for help in evicting a guest who refused to open the door.

2:57 p.m. A man was setting up camp outside the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Avenue.

5:12 p.m. An intoxicated man who was walking back and forth in the parking lot of a business in the 200 block of Turner Drive received a citation.

5:26 p.m. A passing motorist reported a woman was lying by the side of U.S. Highway 550 near the Iron Horse Inn. The driver didn’t stop.

6:04 p.m. A tall, thin intoxicated man was lying on a bench in front of a business in the 1000 block of Main Avenue.

8:42 p.m. Someone in a white truck was stopped in the middle of the street in the 200 block of Ball Lane. A dead deer was in the road nearby.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to 15 incidents, among them three falls, two structure fires and a fire alarm.
