4:49 p.m. Someone accidentally locked keys and a child in a vehicle in the 2800 block of Holly Avenue.

6:57 p.m. A vehicle was keyed in the 3100 block of Main Avenue.

7:18 p.m. An arrest was made after several people tried to pull a license plate cover off a vehicle in the area of East Fourth Avenue and College Drive.

8:04 a.m. A mailbox was damaged in the area of Harrison Lane.

8:58 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen in the area of County Road 133.

9:30 a.m. A man with a machete was reported in the area of U.S. Highway 550 north.

5:23 p.m. Two firearms were reported stolen in the area of Twilight Lane.

Firefighters and medics responded to 16 calls Wednesday to Thursday morning, including eight emergency medical service calls, a gas leak, an elevator rescue and an animal rescue.
