7:23 a.m. A man was passed out or asleep in a bike barn at the Durango Transit Center, 250 W. Eighth St.

9:22 a.m. A man reported receiving a suspicious letter in the mail in the 2700 block of Mesa Avenue.

7:26 p.m. Someone saw a man panhandling at south City Market, 6 Town Plaza, who looked like a stabbing suspect who remains on the loose.

Tuesday

3:29 a.m. A bear was sitting in the middle of the road and wouldn’t move, according to a report in the 200 block of Turner Driver, south of downtown Durango in Bodo Industrial Park.

5:44 a.m. A man reported his wife was high on drugs and turning off electrical breakers in the 1700 block of County Road 125, west of Durango. Deputies made an arrest.

11:03 p.m. Someone was possibly having an illegal bonfire near May Rose Lane, off County Road 232, in the Grandview area.

Firefighters and medics responded to 14 calls Monday, including an assault, an odor of gas in the east 300 block of 32nd Street, a structure fire near county roads 502 and 504, and two traffic crashes.
