12:04 p.m. A dog was attacking a young deer near Durango Public Library.

5:32 p.m. A man was going through the trash and taking pancakes in the area of East Third Avenue and Ninth Street.

Saturday

4:44 p.m. A man threw a pipe through a car windshield in the west 100 block of 32nd Street.

6:14 p.m. A man was pounding on someone’s door and screaming at the resident in the 3300 block of Main Avenue.

Friday

7:05 a.m. A vehicle pileup occurred in the 100 block of South Camino del Rio.

2:31 p.m. Someone tried to set a welcome mat on fire in the 3100 block of Animas Village Drive.

4:10 p.m. Someone was arrested on suspicion of theft of tools in the 2900 block of Main Avenue.

7:44 p.m. Someone passed fake currency in the 1200 block of Carbon Junction.

Firefighters and medics responded to 28 calls Monday through Wednesday morning, including 13 emergency medical service calls, a car crash and four unauthorized burning calls.
