11:04 a.m. Someone was attacked in the 3100 block of East Avenida Drive.

5:19 p.m. Two pit bulls were running loose in the 400 block of East College Drive.

5:52 p.m. A woman was hit by a vehicle and the vehicle fled the scene near College Avenue and East Eighth Avenue.

Saturday

10:26 a.m. An assault was reported in the west 100 block of Eighth Street.

1:54 p.m. A business’s window was shattered in the west 100 block of 18th Street.

7:32 p.m. A man was hitting a wooden sign with a hatchet in the area of 11th Street and Main Avenue.

Friday

8:28 a.m. A shed was burglarized in the 400 block of South Camino del Rio.

1:37 p.m. Someone reported a person with a sword at La Plata County Fairgrounds.

4:47 p.m. A 45-year-old man was hit by a vehicle in the 400 block of Florida Road. Police made an arrest.

Firefighters and medics responded to 35 calls Friday to Monday morning, including 14 emergency medical service calls, an unauthorized burning and five car crashes.
