Friday

11:07 a.m. Someone reported a possible drug deal involving multiple juveniles who were entering and leaving a gray Jeep in the parking lot near the playground at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave. Police made at least one arrest.

3:13 p.m. A woman reported her ex-husband yelling obscenities at her outside Walmart, 1155 South Camino del Rio.

6:20 p.m. Seven people had open alcohol containers and were drinking on the curb at Durango Recycling Center, 710 Tech Center Drive. Police made at least one arrest.

9:14 p.m. An intoxicated woman was reportedly fighting several guests at the Henry Strater Theatre, 699 Main Ave. Police made an arrest.

10:54 p.m. A woman reported that a man was knocking on the door and trying to look inside her room at Durango Travelodge, 2970 Main Ave.

11:36 p.m. An intoxicated woman was screaming and trying to hit passersby at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, 561 Main Ave. Police made an arrest.

Saturday

5:40 a.m. An intoxicated man passed out in the bathroom at Denny’s, 666 Camino del Rio.

10:37 a.m. Someone reported and confronted two women who were seen grabbing a child by the hair in the parking lot at Walmart, 1155 South Camino del Rio. Police made an arrest.

2:40 p.m. A man was jumping into traffic and yelling at drivers to hit him at 2312 Columbine Drive.

8:01 p.m. Someone reported an intoxicated person, possibly a man, who was falling down in the middle of the street at East Fourth Avenue and Third Street.

10:49 p.m. An intoxicated man was knocking on hotel room doors at Best Western Rio Grande Inn, 400 East Second Ave.

Sunday

6:29 p.m. A man reported that someone was harassing him and trying to get him to come outside and fight at the End-O-Day Motel, 350 East Eighth Ave.

8:31 p.m. A man tried to punch someone and was kicked out by a bartender at Colorado Pongas, 121 W. Eighth St.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 33 calls Friday through Sunday, including six people who fell, five fire alarms, two incidents involving someone who was unconscious and unresponsive, two brush fires and one cardiac or respiratory arrest that resulted in death.
