Sunday

1:28 a.m. Neighbors on a balcony at the Silver Peaks apartments in the 1100 block of Goeglein Gulch Road were being loud. Police made an arrest.

1:30 a.m. A drunken man was trying to get into someone’s house in the 700 block of East Fourth Avenue. Police made an arrest.

5:37 p.m. Someone reported an ongoing problem with a trespasser in the 900 block of Oak Drive.

7:45 p.m. A woman reported a drunken man inside her house in the east 400 block of 10th Street.

10:36 p.m. Someone broke into a room at Brookside Motel, 2331 Main Ave. There was broken glass and blood at the scene. Police were investigating.

11:36 p.m. Two women were in the McDonald’s drive-thru and refusing to leave. Police made an arrest for drunken driving.

Saturday

6:47 p.m. Police responded to a T-bone crash in the 2500 block of Main Avenue. A driver was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

Friday

7:17 a.m. A three-legged dog was loose in the 500 block of Clovis Drive.

1:02 p.m. Two boys were jumping bikes off a picnic table at Santa Rita Park, 149 South Camino del Rio.

7:49 p.m. Four men were looking into cars parked in an alley behind the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 40 calls Friday through Sunday, including an odor of gas near county roads 223 and 225, a report of smoke in the 2400 block of East Animas Road (County Road 250), and two traffic crashes: one in the 1500 block of Wildcat Canyon Road (County Road 141) and another in the 10200 block of La Plata Highway (Colorado Highway 140).
