4:22 p.m. Someone had an animal hide staked to the grass near Brookside Park.

11:57 p.m. Someone driving a pickup with out-of-state plates had no right front tire and was causing sparks on the frontage road near Bodo Industrial Park. Police arrested someone for drunken driving.

8:46 a.m. A man was hit in the head with a rock and was unable to walk out of Horse Gulch.

11:53 p.m. A woman’s ex-boyfriend threatened to drive from Cortez to Durango and shoot her.

Friday

7:12 a.m. A man was trespassing on someone’s porch in the Island Cove Mobile Home Park, 485 Florida Road.

10:57 a.m. A man who looked about 35 was carrying a 3-foot long saber in the 1900 block of East Third Avenue, near Durango Public Library.

1:26 p.m. Kids were throwing things at vehicles at they drove by near Columbine Drive and Clovis Drive.

5:46 p.m. A structure fire was reported in the 400 block of Hillcrest Drive.

Friday

12:30 a.m. Firefighters assisted with a structure fire east of Bayfield.

2:04 p.m. Hazardous materials were spilled on the tarmac at the Durango-La Plata County Airport.

3:31 p.m. Fuel was spilled in the 200 block of Colorado Highway 172.

10:32 p.m. A brush fire was reported near the Cascade Creek trailhead in the 51000 block of U.S. Highway 550, north of Purgatory.

Durango Fire & Rescue Authority responded to 57 calls Thursday through Sunday.
