7:33 a.m. A man was sleeping in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

10:22 a.m. A woman checked into the Durango Community Recreation Center with a fake name.

1:06 p.m. A large piece of metal was on the road in the 1100 block of South Camino del Rio.

1:46 p.m. Something fell off a semitruck and broke a woman’s windshield in the 300 block of South Camino del Rio.

7:57 p.m. A Durango High School student broke a 35-year-old man’s hand after a road-rage incident at the high school, 2390 Main Ave.

8:24 p.m. A drunken person was sleeping in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

9:12 p.m. Someone reported hearing screaming and voices from a drainage gutter in the 1300 block of Roosa Avenue.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 16 calls Monday, including four reports of smoke, three fire alarms and three non-emergency transports.
