7:26 a.m. A man believed to be living homeless refused to leave a hotel in the 3700 block of Main Avenue. At least one person was given a verbal warning for trespassing.

8:07 a.m. A man believed to be intoxicated and living homeless was trying to fight with someone inside McDonald’s. At least one arrest was made.

9:04 a.m. Someone was arrested for violating a restraining order in the 3100 block of Main Avenue.

12:55 p.m. A man was trespassing in a horse trailer at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. At least one person was arrested for impersonation.

8:52 p.m. A person believed to be living homeless was chasing vehicles and yelling in the parking lot of south City Market.

9:25 p.m. Two people believed to be living homeless were sleeping in an alley near the 600 block of Main Avenue. At least one person was given a verbal warning for trespassing.

11:52 p.m. At least three people were at a church in the 200 block of East Fifth Avenue – at least one was given a verbal warning for trespassing.

2:47 p.m. Someone reported smoke from a campfire in the 14500 block of County Road 213, near Bodo Industrial Park.

3:48 p.m. Someone reported an ongoing issue with trespassing at Fox Fire Ranch, near Bayfield.

4:40 p.m. Two women were arguing and fighting in the 31700 block of U.S. Highway 160 east.

7:25 p.m. A man believed to be intoxicated was kicked out of a bar in the 48700 block of U.S. Highway 550 north for acting aggressively.

Firefighters and medics responded to 12 calls Monday and at least two calls Tuesday morning, including a crash with injuries and eight emergency medical calls.
