10:10 a.m. A man was smoking cigarettes near a gas pump at Exxon Mini Mart, 2501 Main Ave.

12:27 p.m. Someone was yelling profanities at passersby at the Durango Community Recreation Center.

1:31 p.m. Someone had questions about a sex offender being near a playground at the Brookside Park, 2301 Main Ave.

2:06 p.m. Eight people were harassing tourists for money near the Durango Welcome Center, 802 Main Ave.

4:07 p.m. A man and a woman were fighting in the 1100 block of South Camino del Rio. Police made at least one arrest.

Monday

4:46 p.m. A man wanted to talk to a deputy about Jehovah’s Witnesses leaving a pamphlet in a pump house in the 10500 block of County Road 120, southwest of Hesperus.

Sunday

12:33 a.m. A vehicle drove through a fence and was trying to leave in the 6800 block of Buck Highway (County Road 521) south of Bayfield.

9:46 a.m. A man reported that a woman stole his cat in the Westside Mobile Home Park, 21134 U.S. Highway 160.

Saturday

2:03 p.m. A man wanted to talk to a deputy about shooting a raccoon on his neighbor’s property, according to a report on West Grimes Creek Road.

Friday

8:38 a.m. Horses were loose in the Alpine Shadows subdivision, northeast of Elmore’s Corner.

10:18 p.m. A woman, possibly on drugs, crawled out of the trunk of her car at Conoco Express, 650 Buck Highway, in Bayfield.

Firefighters and medics responded to 10 calls Monday, including an assault and nine other medical calls.
