4:42 a.m. A man was sitting outside someone’s window in the 100 block of East Fifth Avenue.

Wednesday

1:07 p.m. Someone stole a bicycle from the lower 100 block of Rio Vista Circle.

1:34 p.m. Someone stole cash from the 600 block of Arroyo Drive.

5:32 p.m. A driver rear-ended another vehicle in the 400 block of East College Drive.

6:57 p.m. A man and a woman were fighting behind Albertsons.

7:55 p.m. Two trees were possibly on fire near the base of the Purple Cliffs, south of downtown Durango.

11:54 p.m. A 50-year-old woman was assaulted and had a cut on her head. Police made at least one arrest.

Wednesday

3:14 p.m. A driver rolled a vehicle somewhere in the 5300 and 5800 blocks of (Wildcat Canyon Road (County Road 141) west of Lake Nighthorse. No injuries were reported.

4:11 p.m. A 13-year-old was threatening someone’s family with physical force in the 21000 block of U.S. Highway 160, in west Durango.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 15 calls Wednesday and at least four calls Thursday morning, including a brush fire and unauthorized burning.
