2:21 p.m. A man stole something and took money out of the tip jar at Schlotzsky’s, 846 Main Ave.

7:07 p.m. People in an alley were lighting fireworks, yelling and teasing someone’s dog, according to a report in the 300 block of East Fourth Avenue.

Firefighters and medics responded to 14 calls, including an assault, two reports of people suffering chest pains, a power or transformer problem in the 3200 block of County Road 234 and a report of smoke near the Bridge to Nowhere.
