7:36 a.m. Traffic control was needed at Camino del Rio and U.S. Highway 160 for a traffic signal that was not functioning properly.

7:59 p.m. A man hit a woman with a pair of pliers at Iron Horse Inn, 5800 Main Ave. Police made an arrest.

10:15 p.m. Someone reported that neighbors were beating a dog in the 1100 block of Florida Road.
