12:31 a.m. A dumpster was on fire in the 900 block of Narrow Gauge Avenue. Police were investigating it as a possible arson.

4:30 a.m. A man requested help chasing a bear away from his front door in the 2400 block of Columbine Drive.

Wednesday

10:47 a.m. A drunken man was incapacitated, and another man was pouring water on him to keep him cool in the Albertsons parking lot, 311 W. College Drive.

3:43 p.m. Multiple people were refusing to pay a bill at May Palace, 909 Main Ave.

6:32 p.m. Five tubers fell out of their tubes and appeared to be in distress near Schneider Park, 950 Roosa Ave.

Firefighters and medics responded to 20 calls Wednesday, including a brush fire, dumpster fire, fuel spill, gas leak, pregnancy and two water rescues.
