9:37 a.m. A motorcyclist hit a deer near mile marker 98 on U.S. Highway 160, west of Gem Village.

4:28 a.m. Someone unknown to a homeowner living on North Mountain View Drive was ringing a door bell, knocking and trying to break into the residence.
4:53 a.m. A man filled a basket with items and left through a fire exit at Walmart.
8:46 a.m. Two men assaulted someone’s husband somewhere on County Road 501, north of Bayfield.
12:14 p.m. A pit bull attacked someone in the 12400 block of County Road 501 near Vallecito.
3:29 p.m. A man was shoplifting from a business in the 800 block of South Camino del Rio.
5:51 p.m. Someone heard gunshots in the lower 100 block of County Road 500, north of Vallecito Reservoir.
9:17 p.m. A man and a woman were fighting somewhere on County Road 501, north of Durango.
