9:10 a.m. A man fell asleep behind a gas station in the 900 block of Camino del Rio. At least one person was arrested for trespassing.
5 p.m. A man believed to be intoxicated lay in the grass behind a housing complex in the 500 block of East Seventh Avenue. At least one person was arrested for obscene conduct.
6:20 p.m. A woman stole something from Walmart. At least one person was arrested for shoplifting.
10:12 p.m. An officer encountered a “large bear” in the 3700 block of Main Avenue.

2:33 p.m. A woman tried to hit someone with her vehicle in the 6900 block of Florida Road (County Road 240), northeast of Durango.
Saturday
10:40 a.m. A man with his pants pulled down ran in front of someone’s vehicle on County Road 330 at the New Mexico border.
11:28 p.m. A man waved a machete at someone when the person refused to give him money in the 600 block of Camino del Rio.
