4:48 a.m. A vehicle crash occurred between two vehicles, including a truck, and the truck was on fire in the 19000 block of U.S. Highway 160, near western city limits.

9:22 p.m. Someone contacted police about leaving a firearm in a gas station bathroom in Durango.

11:26 p.m. A man was arrested for shoplifting two six-packs of beer in the 600 block of Camino del Rio.

12:50 p.m. A 30- to 40-year-old woman was assaulted in the 1100 block of Camino del Rio.

10:52 p.m. A 41-year-old man was assaulted with a knife in the 2200 block of West Second Avenue.

11:19 p.m. A burglary occurred in the 800 block of East Third Street.

Friday

3:18 p.m. Someone slammed his or her head into a window and broke it at Town Plaza.

7:06 a.m. A man was jumping in front of traffic in the 600 through 800 blocks of Camino del Rio.

9:13 a.m. A man was arrested after being reported for peeing on a church lawn in the area of East Third Avenue and 11th Street.

10:52 a.m. An 8-year-old boy was threatening others with a knife at Santa Rita Park.

4:55 p.m. Two women were arrested for shoplifting at Walmart.

9:54 p.m. A man was almost stabbed in the face with a knife in the 1200 block of Camino del Rio.

12:57 p.m. Someone reported a neighbor shooting off fireworks somewhere on East Animas Road (County Road 250).

6:58 p.m. A man was assaulted by a rock in the area of County Road 203.

Saturday

2:17 a.m. A vehicle was broken into at Sky Ute Casino.

5:22 a.m. Someone was arrested for assault in the 21000 block of U.S. Highway 160, in west Durango.

1:39 p.m. A man was sitting at a table holding a knife in the 300 block of College Drive.

9:26 p.m. A vehicle was on fire in the 36000 block of U.S. Highway 160, between Elmore’s Corner and Gem Village.

10:27 p.m. A woman with no pants was standing on a railing in the 400 block of Florida Road.

Sunday

9:39 a.m. Cows were on the road in the lower 100 block of County Road 218, south of Durango.

2:31 p.m. Rocks were in the road 9500 block of County Road 502.

Firefighters and medics responded to 41 calls Friday through Monday morning, including 30 EMS calls, a brush fire and two motor vehicle crashes.
