1:20 a.m. A woman was crying and a man was yelling at her to “shut up,” at Durango Downtown Inn, 800 block of Camino del Rio.
2:29 a.m. A man was sleeping in a cardboard dumpster in the 800 block of East Second Avenue, near Steamworks.
Tuesday
8:06 a.m. A bicycle seat was stolen from a bike overnight at Needham Elementary, 2425 West Third Ave.
12:12 p.m. A 50-year-old man was complaining of hypothermia and pain in his ribs and chest in the 2200 block of Main Avenue.
5:05 p.m. Someone reported a man loitering with a sign that read, “I need weed,” in the 3400 block of Main Avenue.
9:33 p.m. A man with a flashlight was looking into cars in the 600 block of East Eighth Avenue.
Durango Fire
Firefighters and medics responded to 16 calls Tuesday, including a report of smoke in the 1600 block of La Posta Road (County Road 213), a structure fire in the 1000 block of North Oak Drive, four traffic crashes and a water rescue in the Animas River south of Farmington Hill.
