1:02 a.m. An SUV was parked in the middle of a field in the 200 block of Rock Point Drive. Police issued a warning.

3:37 a.m. A man was acting strangely and refused to leave the lobby of the Durango Post Office, 222 W. Eight St. Police issued a warning.

Wednesday

11:51 a.m. A man was screaming and becoming belligerent behind Durango Downtown Inn, 800 Camino del Rio. Police issued a warning.

12:24 p.m. Someone reported a man possibly selling drugs in the 300 block of West College Drive.

2:03 p.m. A man was passed out in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

2:47 p.m. A man was acting oddly and carrying a bat in the 3200 block of Main Avenue.

3:14 p.m. Someone reported a man was asking for help in the 1300 block of South Camino del Rio.

3:29 p.m. A man was panhandling outside of a business in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

8:21 p.m. A man with a knife tried to cut someone in the 800 block of Tech Center Drive.

9:14 p.m. Someone reported a dog barking for hours at West Fourth Avenue and 32nd Street.

10:41 p.m. A man left with a cart full of items from south City Market, 6 Town Plaza.

Thursday

12:17 a.m. A man wearing all black was walking in the middle of the road in the 800 block of South Camino del Rio.

2:30 a.m. A bear was stuck in a vehicle and honking the horn in the 4000 block of Florida Road (County Road 240).

Wednesday

7:14 a.m. Three cows were loose on Buck Highway (County Road 521).

10:49 p.m. Two vehicles hit an elk in the 19000 block of Colorado Highway 140.

Durango Fire

The Durango Fire Protection District responded to nine calls Wednesday, including a traffic accident, an automatic fire alarm and a gas odor investigation.
