8:27 a.m. A rafting company bus broke down and was blocking a lane of traffic in the 21600 block of U.S. Highway 160 in west Durango.

1:36 p.m. Multiple vehicles were parked illegally at a raft put-in in the 3300 block of East Third Avenue. Police issued citations.

2:56 p.m. A man was standing at the corner of Ninth Street and Main Avenue with a sign that read “420?” Someone was worried he was soliciting marijuana.

4:15 p.m. A drunken man was falling over in bushes at the Durango Transit Center, 250 W. Eighth St.

4:46 p.m. A silver GMC Sierra hit a sign without stopping at Sonic Drive-in, 240 East Eighth Ave.

9:40 p.m. A woman lay in a planter in front of Magpies Newsstand Cafe, 707 Main Ave.

Wednesday

7:20 p.m. A man was harassing customers and jumping in front of cars near the Alta gas station in Bayfield, 2400 block of Bayfield Parkway.

7:57 p.m. A man was out of control and threatening to shoot people in the 5400 block of County Road 502, northwest of Bayfield.

Firefighters and medics responded to 18 calls Wednesday, including more than a dozen medical calls, two fire alarms and an apartment fire at 2123 West Third Ave.
