1:49 p.m. Someone assaulted a 31-year-old woman in the 21600 block of U.S. Highway 160 in west of Durango.

Thursday

6:09 p.m. A driver hit another vehicle and left the scene near the intersection of 32nd Street and Main Avenue.

10:08 p.m. Someone saw flames and smoke and heard two explosions near the 26800 block of U.S. Highway 160, in the Durango area.

10:37 p.m. Someone reported a mountain lion that had eaten, or was in the process of eating, in the 8100 block of County Road 203 in Hermosa, north of Durango.

11:59 p.m. Someone heard weird noises sounding like footsteps, and dogs were barking in the 2800 block of Wildcat Canyon Road (County Road 141) west of Lake Nighthorse.

Firefighters and medics responded to 12 calls Thursday and three calls Friday morning, including one smoke scare and eight emergency medical calls.
