1:03 p.m. A man harassed someone in open space on a dirt trail in the lower 100 block of Riverview Drive.

3:50 p.m. A man was sitting on stairs in the 800 block of Main Avenue with a knife. At least one person was given a verbal warning.

4:53 p.m. About eight people were drinking alcohol and smoking cannabis in the 200 block of East College Drive.

5:23 p.m. A man believed to be intoxicated was urinating on a building in the 200 block of East College Drive.

5:32 p.m. Someone was sitting on the sidewalk at the intersection of east Ninth Street and Main Avenue. At least one person was given a verbal warning for nuisance behavior.

7:40 p.m. Someone was in a cave near the designated off-leash-pet area near the 21800 block of U.S. Highway 160 west.

10:17 p.m. An employee at Hilltop House reported a bear in a dumpster that would not leave.

Firefighters and medics responded to 11 calls Wednesday and at least four calls Thursday morning, including eight emergency medical calls and two dispatches canceled en route.
