3:05 a.m. Police responded to a loud party in the 300 block of East Fourth Avenue.

Tuesday

10:13 a.m. Someone wanted to talk to police about a neighbor throwing tree limbs in a yard in the 2900 block of East Second Avenue.

11:34 a.m. Two drivers were involved in a rear-end crash, and a vehicle may have left the scene in the east 100 block of 19th Street.

12:06 p.m. Up to eight men were fighting in the Durango Community Recreation Center parking lot, 2700 Main Ave.

1:13 p.m. A man was running erratically outside rooms and threatening customers at Durango Downtown Inn, 800 South Camino del Rio.

4:44 p.m. A drunken man told someone he was going to “stick them up” near Durango Joe’s, 40 Town Plaza. Police made an arrest.

La Plata County Sheriff’s Office

Tuesday

7:07 a.m. The Transportation Safety Administration at Durango-La Plata County Airport called to report a passenger had brass knuckles in a carry-on bag.

8:46 a.m. A man called 911 and wasn’t answering questions – just saying “yes” and “no” over and over.

6:08 p.m. Up to 30 bicyclists were riding on both sides of the road near county roads 214 and 213 (La Posta Road).

Firefighters and medics responded to 10 calls Tuesday, including a traffic crash near South Camino del Rio and Colorado Highway 3.
