2:29 a.m. Loud music was coming from El Rancho, 975 Main Ave.

Monday

11:34 a.m. A 20-year-old man was lying on the sidewalk, and he was not alert in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

1:08 p.m. A fire hydrant was spewing water and flooding the road near Florida Road and Aspen Drive.

2:37 p.m. Someone driving a snowplow hit a parked vehicle near Leyden Street and Eastlawn Avenue.

6:21 p.m. Two women were trying to fight another woman in the 900 block of Main Avenue. Police issued a warning.

6:48 p.m. Two women were fighting near Eighth Street and Main Avenue. Police made an arrest.

Saturday

8:47 a.m. A driver in a white truck with New Mexico plates was speeding, swerving and ran a red light in the 3200 block of Main Avenue.

Friday

9:37 a.m. Two dogs were attacking a man’s cows, so he shot one in the 5900 block of Buck Highway (County Road 521) south of Bayfield.

5:18 p.m. A man spit in another man’s face and wanted to fight in the 100 block of Colina Place, south of Elmore’s Corner.

6:55 p.m. A drunken man was in ski patrol custody, and he needed to go to Detox, according to a report at Hesperus Ski Area, 9848 U.S. Highway 160, west of Durango.

9:52 p.m. A driver of a tow truck hit a light pole knocking out power in the 2800 block of County Road 225, northeast of Elmore’s Corner.

Firefighters and medics responded to eight calls Monday, including an odor of gas in the 4400 block of U.S. Highway 550, in the Bondad area; a structure fire in the 34200 block of U.S. Highway 550, north of Hermosa; and a vehicle on fire in the 1100 block of South Camino del Rio near Walmart.
