10:38 a.m. An illegal camp was reported on the east side of the Animas River at Rotary Park, 1565 East Second Ave.

10:40 a.m. Someone reported two men for trespassing at St. Columba Catholic Church, 1800 East Second Ave. The reporting party requested that they be removed.

11:49 a.m. Smoke was reported coming from the inside of Andrews Financial Services, 555 S. Camino del Rio.

4:11 p.m. An intoxicated man was urinating outside of Durango Transit Center, 250 W. Eighth St.

7:24 p.m. Someone reported that a candlelight vigil in Buckley Park was blocking traffic, at 1250 Main Ave.

8:06 p.m. The trailer of a tractor-trailer was reportedly torn in half and dragging on the road at 20453 U.S. Highway 160.

8:50 p.m. An elderly woman was trespassing at the Commons Building, 701 Camino del Rio.

11:25 p.m. An intoxicated man was yelling in the parking lot of Motel Durango, 2202 Main Ave.

Saturday

9:01 a.m. One person was injured in a hot-air balloon crash that occurred at Wolf Ranch, 1492 Florida Road (County Road 250).

1 p.m. Someone reported trees were burning and on fire 100 feet from their residence. The blaze was growing rapidly, with wind in the area, 239 Jenkins Ranch Road.

3:06 p.m. The driver of a vehicle almost hit people participating in the March for Our Lives rally near Rotary Park, 1565 East Second Ave.

6:27 p.m. Two children, who were about 6 or 7 years old, were reported to be vaping at Durango Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1550 Main Ave.

Sunday

2:01 a.m. Someone reported a loud party with people outside screaming and yelling at the residence across the street from 8 Red Mountain Drive.

3:37 a.m. Three to four college kids were playing loud music and partying outside on a porch and in the street at 873 East Fifth Ave.

4:10 a.m. The same three to four college kids were being loud again, this time making a racket playing cornhole, at 873 East Fifth Ave.

11:55 a.m. Customers were concerned about a man who was talking to himself outside Allen Theatres, 900 Trans Lux Drive.

1:07 p.m. An intoxicated man was arrested for shoplifting at South City Market, 6 Town Plaza.

1:30 p.m. Someone reported that a 3-year-old girl was left alone in Folsom Park, 11 Folsom Place.

9:13 p.m. A man who was possibly intoxicated was crawling on the ground at 100 W. Ninth St.

9:19 p.m. Someone reported that a man was possibly shooting something at deer and chasing them near West Third Avenue and Alamo Street.

10:17 p.m. Several people were yelling obscenities at passers-by in front of a house at East Second Avenue and College Drive.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 35 calls Friday through Sunday, including an assault, a diabetic problem, a vehicle fire, two brush fires, two structure fires and six people who fell.
