3:25 a.m. People stole someone’s dog from a gas station in the 900 block of Camino del Rio and left in a vehicle.

Thursday

8:38 a.m. A 63-year-old woman was bleeding from her head on the Animas River Trail behind Durango High School.

9:27 a.m. Someone stole keys and a laptop from the Durango Community Homeless Shelter.

12:17 p.m. A woman was sitting in the road throwing food in the 900 block of Main Avenue.

12:37 p.m. A street musician was being loud in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

12:46 p.m. A man stole a beer from Wagon Wheel Liquors in Town Plaza.

3:13 p.m. A man was screaming and yelling near a front door in the 1400 block of Main Avenue.

3:50 p.m. Two women were fighting in an apartment in the 800 block of Goeglein Gulch Road.

3:50 p.m. A boy damaged a fence in the 3700 block of West Second Avenue.

8:10 p.m. A man assaulted a Walmart employee at the business. At least one person was arrested.

8:46 p.m. A group of people appeared to be smoking either crack or meth on a property in the 1100 block of East Fifth Avenue.

8:48 p.m. A woman was sleeping on a bench in the west 100 block of 14th Street.

9:02 p.m. A man believed to be intoxicated lay in the middle of the road in the 300 block of East Fourth Avenue.

Firefighters and medics responded to 17 calls Thursday and at least four calls Friday morning, including an elevator rescue and 10 emergency medical calls.
