8:46 a.m. A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage overnight in the 100 block of Sierra Vista Street.

12:35 p.m. Someone reported a suspicious blue duffel bag outside the front door at north City Market, 3130 Main Ave.

1:30 p.m. A man was panhandling in the intersection at Colorado Highway 3 and Santa Rita Drive.

1:39 p.m. Someone reported finding a bullet at the Durango Community Recreation Center Kids Club, 2700 Main Ave.

10:08 p.m. Multiple people were smoking marijuana and being loud at apartments in the 1200 block of Florida Road.

Wednesday

2:15 p.m. Eight people were riding bikes and causing a hazard near county roads 213 and 214, south of Durango.

3:29 p.m. Someone reported problems with cyclists near county roads 310 and 318, in the Bondad area south of Durango.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 11 calls Wednesday, including a brush fire in the 29000 block of U.S. Highway 550 near the train tracks, and two traffic crashes – one near Colorado Highway 172 and County Road 302, and another near the Bridge to Nowhere interchange on U.S. Highway 160 in the Grandview area.
