12:32 a.m. A man camping in a van in the 2100 block of West Third Avenue received a verbal warning.

Sunday

1:34 p.m. Customers at College Plaza Laundry, 508 East Eighth Ave., reported a woman was mistreating her children.

11:15 p.m. A dog wearing a red collar was being stolen from the rear of a pickup in the 800 block of East Second Avenue.

Saturday

6:20 a.m. Two drunken men were at Denny’s Restaurant, 666 Camino del Rio. One of them was passed out in the waiting area.

9:26 a.m. A woman with a toddler was panhandling in the 1100 block of South Camino del Rio.

Firefighters and paramedics answered 47 calls from Thursday through Sunday, among them six brush fires, four falls, five overdoses and a fire alarm.
