8:08 p.m. A man assaulted someone at 610 East Third Ave., and then fled the scene in a van that had ladders on top.

7:03 p.m. A bear knocked over a trashcan in the alley behind the Days Inn, 3030 Main Ave.
2:46 p.m. A man who was possibly high on methamphetamines was acting belligerent after being caught shoplifting at the Exxon gas station, 1680 Main Ave.
8:35 p.m. A man was rolling around on the ground, possibly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, outside of the DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio.

10:29 a.m. A bear got into several trash cans in the alley at 313 E. Third St.
11:46 a.m. Someone called police to ask about the rules for driving a golf cart in Durango.
4:24 p.m. Six men were threatening customers at Durango Joe’s, 632 E. College Drive.
6:39 p.m. Eight inebriated people were yelling and scaring children at Schneider Park, 950 Roosa Ave.
10:02 p.m. Someone reported a bear that was eating a trash bag in the alley behind Spanish Trails Inn and Suites, 3141 Main Ave.
10:28 p.m. A single gunshot was heard in the 2400 block of Arroyo Drive.

1:31 a.m. Someone reported a suspicious man who was carrying a bat at Durango High School, 2390 Main Ave.
