12:28 p.m. The driver of a vehicle was driving around the Vantiv parking lot, 150 Mercury Village Drive, with a video camera.

9:56 p.m. Someone was using a loud leaf blower in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

11:47 p.m. A drunken woman was refusing to pay a tab at El Rancho, 975 Main Ave.

Monday

11:15 a.m. Three horses were loose on the road in the 15500 block of East Animas Road (County Road 250), in the Animas Valley.

1:19 p.m. A woman had more than 40 cats in her home in the 1400 block of County Road 333, in southeast La Plata County.

6:23 p.m. A man was shooting a high-powered rifle on a neighbor’s property in an unsafe manner in the 500 block of County Road 222, southeast of Elmore’s Corner.

6:28 p.m. A drunken man was throwing rocks at a woman’s car, according to a report at Billy Goat Saloon, 39848 U.S. Highway 160.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 16 calls Monday, including a brush fire at a homeless camp near the Tech Center, an odor of gas in the 700 block of East Pioneer Drive and three traffic crashes.
