1:23 p.m. Someone shot a mailbox on County Road 228, northeast of Elmore’s Corner.

5:33 p.m. A man wanted to talk to a deputy about his neighbors accusing him of stealing a cat, according to a report on Lightner Creek Road (County Road 207).

8:19 p.m. Smoke was coming from a furnace on Long Story Road.

7:13 a.m. Someone wanted to talk to a deputy about a neighbor who shoots a firearm every morning, according to a report on East Animas Road (County Road 250).

Firefighters and medics responded to 22 calls Monday through early Tuesday, including a carbon monoxide incident, a cooking fire, a smoke scare and a report of unauthorized burning south of Durango.
