3:54 p.m. Someone called to report a neighbor was talking badly about him, according to a report from County Road 129.

March 14

8:44 a.m. Someone threw rocks through a vehicle window on U.S. Highway 550 south of Durango.

9:58 a.m. A man reportedly sent a bloody hand to someone on Sand Ridge Circuit.

10:48 a.m. Someone’s mailbox was stolen on Happy Valley Lane.

March 15

10:20 a.m. A man was hanging onto the side of a kayak after falling into Vallecito Reservoir.

10:22 a.m. A large cottonwood fell across both lanes of traffic on Animas River Road.

Thursday

10:49 a.m. A cat was stuck in a tree for five days on Silver Queen Street.

5:34 p.m. Several men were trying to steal vehicle tires on May Rose Lane.

Friday

11:31 a.m. A dog bit a FedEx driver’s hand on County Road 116. The driver went to the hospital for stitches.

5:35 a.m. A carpet was in the middle of a road on the Bridges to Nowhere interchange.

9:33 p.m. A man called to say he was being held against his will on South Camino del Rio.

Saturday

10:54 a.m. A man was asleep and snoring somewhere along U.S. Highway 550 south of Durango.

6:56 p.m. Someone reported her family was not returning her freezer, according to a report from County Road 501.

Sunday

10:33 a.m. Someone found a barrel of gasoline on County Road 233.

1:37 p.m. A man flashed a gun at someone who later called deputies on Zyme Rock Road.

Monday

10:16 a.m. Someone contacted deputies to report an issue with a dog harassing livestock on County Road 128.

Tuesday

1:03 a.m. A woman said there were things in her house – including a giant drum – that were preventing her from falling asleep on U.S. Highway 550 north of Durango.
