9:13 a.m. Four trucks were parked in fire lanes at the La Plata County Fairgounds. Police issued citations.

5:19 p.m. A man was carrying a butcher knife near 27th Street and Main Avenue.

7 p.m. A drunken man was acting belligerent toward children in the 600 block of Arroyo Drive. Police made an arrest.

Saturday

1:13 a.m. A drunken man was trying to fight a bouncer at Starlight Lounge, 937 Main Ave.

1 p.m. A man threatened to break into another man’s residence in the 1800 block of Forest Avenue.

3:51 p.m. Two men were caught shoplifting from Shoe Dept. Encore at the Durango Mall, 800 South Camino del Rio.

5 p.m. Someone reported tools being stolen from a vehicle, according to a report in the 2500 block of Main Avenue.

5:02 p.m. A man standing on the road was yelling in the west 200 block of 32nd Street.

8:57 p.m. Someone reported a woman being assaulted in a bathroom at Circle K Gas Station and Convenience Store, 1801 Main Ave.

8:52 p.m. A dead dog lay in the road near the bridge in the 1500 block of Main Avenue.

Friday

5:43 p.m. Juveniles were pretending to throw water balloons near the picnic tables and red rocks at Memorial Park, 2901 East Third Ave.

Firefighters and medics responded to 37 calls Friday through Sunday, including two smoke scares and a traffic crash not involving injuries.
