1:29 a.m. A person at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave., was arrested for trespassing.

Wednesday

11:50 p.m. a person near the intersection West 27th Street and Main Avenue was arrested for violation of a protection order.

11:04 p.m. A person at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave., was arrested for trespassing.

10:53 p.m. A woman who was allegedly drunk and stepped behind the counter at McDonald’s, 201 W. College Drive, was arrested for theft.

7:55 p.m. A woman found behind the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave., was arrested for trespassing.

4:38 p.m. A man at the Super 8 Durango, 20 Stewart St., who allegedly tried to run from police, was arrested for violation of a restraining order.

11:14 a.m. A man at the La Plata County Humane Society Thrift Store, 1111 South Camino del Rio, was arrested for menacing.

10:37 a.m. A man at the Pinon Terrace Apartments, 20 Primrose Circle, was arrested for trespassing.

Firefighters and medics responded to 17 calls on Wednesday, including 11 EMS calls, one gasoline or flammable liquid spill, plus one alarm that was unintentionally activated.
