1:33 a.m. A person who allegedly ran from police near the 600 block of Main Avenue was arrested for obstruction.

Sunday

1:12 a.m. A person in front of The Garage Billiards and Music Hall, 121 W. Eighth St., was arrested for obscene conduct.

2:44 a.m. A person near the intersection of 10th Street and East Second Avenue was arrested for driving under the influence.

5:06 a.m. A person at the Valle de Merced Apartments, 800 Goeglein Gulch Road, was arrested for domestic violence.

3:48 p.m. A person at Walmart, 1155 South Camino del Rio, was arrested for trespassing.

9:53 p.m. A person at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave., was arrested for trespassing.

Saturday

2:36 a.m. A man who was allegedly involved a car crash in the southbound lane while driving in the 700 block of South Camino del Rio was arrested for driving under the influence.

10:04 a.m. A woman who allegedly stole merchandise from Walmart, 1155 South Camino del Rio, was arrested for shoplifting.

3:09 p.m. A person at College Plaza Laundry, 509 East Eighth Ave., was arrested for having an open container.

7:47 p.m. A person who was driving northbound near the intersection of Main Avenue and 32nd Street, was arrested for driving under the influence.

11:15 p.m. A person near the intersection of 12th Street and Main Avenue was arrested on a warrant.

Friday

10:52 a.m. Six to eight people were allegedly found with open containers at the Durango post office building, 222 W. Eighth St., near the railroad tracks, resulting in at least one arrest for having an open container.

11:04 a.m. Two people allegedly among those found with open containers at the Durango post office building, 222 W. Eighth St., near the railroad tracks, was arrested for a warrant.

12:07 p.m. A person found at the La Plata County probation office, 1060 East Second Ave., was arrested on a warrant.

2:20 p.m. A person at the La Plata County Jail, 742 Turner Drive, was arrested for a warrant.

Firefighters and medics responded to 62 calls Friday through Sunday, including 34 EMS calls, one unauthorized burning and one car crash with injuries.
