9:46 a.m. A motor home became stranded in a turn lane on South Camino del Rio and Dominguez Drive.

10:50 a.m. A religious group was causing a nuisance on the Animas River Trail near East Third Avenue and east 29th Street.

5:20 p.m. Three men were arrested for threatening to stab passersby with knives at Buckley Park.

11:42 p.m. Someone hit a bear with their car in the 4300 block of Main Avenue.

12:55 p.m. A man was issued a citation for pretending to shoot people with his hands and being menacing on Camino del Rio and Main Avenue.

1:12 p.m. A man was running in and out of traffic near the Durango Transit Center, 250 west Eighth Street.

3:15 a.m. Someone hit and killed a bear with their car near the 1000 block of Colorado Highway 3.

10:59 a.m. People protesting something were standing on part of Wildcat Canyon Road (County Road 141) creating a hazard.

Saturday

9:05 a.m. An intoxicated woman was trying to run away from deputies on Hottell Lane.

2:51 p.m. Someone called into the Sheriff’s Office to complain about lawnmower thefts in La Plata County.

Sunday

1:04 p.m. A man was found lying on the side of County Road 302.

9:32 p.m. A Subaru was driving into oncoming traffic on U.S. Highway 550 south of Durango.

Monday

8:27 a.m. Two to three black bears were charging someone’s dogs on East Animas Road (County Road 250). Deputies were asked to break up the fight and scare off the bears.

8:28 p.m. A man pretending to be an official from the local homeowners association was going around knocking on doors on Nusbaum Road.
