The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado will host a virtual event with David Brooks as part of its Making a Difference Speaker Series from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday via Zoom.
The series is designed inspire conversation, bring a new perspective, propel philanthropy and ignite action to benefit the residents of Southwest Colorado. Brooks is a New York Times columnist, political analyst and commentator on PBS’s “NewsHour” and NPR’s “All Things Considered.” He will discuss rebuilding trust in the middle of political and social turmoil, the urban/rural divide and the importance of commitment to community.
The presentation is 45 minutes with a 15-minute question and answer session.
