Of course there’s climate change; the United States was once under 50 to 100 feet of ice. Without climate change, we wouldn’t have the Great Lakes or the Grand Canyon.
Every one of the predictions made by Al Gore (beware of a prophet seeking profits) and the U.N. with due dates have passed, have been false. Now we are to believe the same “experts” can tell us what’s going to happen in 2100? Hardly.
President Obama spent more than $200 billion on wind and solar. Wind, through 2017, produces 6.3 percent of our electric power; solar, 1.3 percent, and only that high a percentage because they are still being subsidized. If the green tyrants and the uninformed calling for the abolition of fossil fuels had their way, we’d be using kerosene lamps and candles. It’s not their time yet!
Only .00039 (39/100,000) of our atmosphere is CO2, and if we keep going at this rate, in four years, it will be .00040 (40/100,000) – doesn’t seem like something terrifying. Only a sliver of the total is caused by human activity. But it won’t continue at that rate. Natural gas is pre-empting coal and corporations like Exxon-Mobil and others have developed rudimentary ways of capturing CO2. Seems like a prudent idea.
Take comfort. The climate change movement is far more about governmental control and power than based in reality. With that in mind, I hope you had a wonderful Earth Day. You might want to look at some early Earth Day predictions; they’re amusing.
