Predicted overnight snow failed to materialize Tuesday morning in Durango, but frost provided a temporary medium on the Rotary Park bridge for someone eager for Valentine’s Day.
A snowman spotted off of Florida Road seemed to reflect the feeling of some Tuesday morning after there was no overnight snow in Durango. Sunny days are the forecast for the week, but there’s a 40 percent chance of light snow Tuesday night in the region, according to the National Weather Service.
