One Colorado will come to Durango for two events next weekend. One Colorado Education Fund will have a booth at the Durango Pride Festival from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 22 at Buckley Park, 1200 Main Ave.. The One Colorado All Statewide Tour will then make a stop in Durango from 2 to 4 p.m. June 23 at the Windsor Room of the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
The One Colorado tour will bring up-to-date information about the equality landscape in Colorado, the latest victories in the advancement of LGBTQ rights and protections, and a chance to chat about what’s next in ensuring a more fair and just Colorado for all. One Colorado also wants to hear from the community about the work that has been happening locally and discuss local opportunities to bridge the gaps between legal and lived equality.
