I have good news for John Rankin (Letters, Herald, Dec. 5), who is concerned that losing local delivery of the print edition of the Sunday Denver Post further estranges Durango from our state.
The Colorado Sun, a Denver-based nonprofit news outlet founded in 2018, covers all of Colorado, including the Western Slope. Some of their journalists’ stories appear in The Durango Herald; you can read the rest of The Sun on its website at https://coloradosun.com without a paywall. (I pay for a membership anyway.)
